Office Assistant - Bakersfield

Part-Time, Non-Exempt Position

Position Description:
American General Media – Bakersfield, CA Corporate Office has a current opening for a part-time Office Assistant. This position offers a semi-negotiable work schedule not to exceed 29 hours per week. Our Office hours are M-F, 8 am to 5 pm and scheduled hours must fall into these business hours.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Filing/scanning
• Mailing/stuffing envelopes
• Data Entry
• Organizing
• Running errands as needed
• Assisting all departments in any areas of need
• Other administrative duties as needed


Ideal Candidate is extremely detail oriented, has strong organizational skills and possesses the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of Quickbooks, MS Office programs and the ability to type 30+ words per minute are a plus.
